Sessional Examinations:

Practical exams are an important part of your academic year, and there will be two or more internal practical exams during each year. Each sessional exam will have a duration of three hours. Your sessional marks will be based on the best combination of any two exam performances.

In the experiments category, marks will be divided based on the type of experiment (major, minor, spotters, etc.) as required by your course.

Your total marks out of 80 in the sessional exams will be converted to 10. Your internal assessment will be calculated based on the average of the best two sessional scores (out of 10). Additionally, you can earn 10 more marks as follows:

  • Actual performance in the sessional exam = 10 marks
  • Assignment marks (Average of three) = 5 marks*
  • Field Visit Report marks (Average) = 5 marks$
